ABOUT US

 

The Women's Peninsula Golf Association is an organization of women who like to golf.

Our organization was founded in 1953. Our objective is to promote and regulate

golfing activities for members having an eighteen-hole certified USGA Handicap Index 

at a participating club on the DelMarVa Peninsula.

 

Benefits of membership include:
• Participation in Team Matches each spring among member Clubs
• Competition in tournaments scheduled at member Clubs
• Championship and Senior Championship Tournaments
• Opportunity to play golf for a reduced fee at member Clubs on specified open days.

Member Clubs must:

• Have a ladies’ league and ladies must have an 18-hole handicap, 

• Agree to provide Open Days (at least one per month, April-October), 

• Host an event approximately every three years, 

• Accept WGPA Prize Certificates for purchase of merchandise in any one of our

member Club’s pro shops, and,

• Their ladies' league provides Officers and Chairs to the Board on a rotating basis.

Fees to join WPGA: Club’s fee is $30. Individual Member’s fee is $21.
